A Glowing Night at La Parguera
Let’s keep the celebration glowing with a nighttime adventure at La Parguera! Located in Lajas on Puerto Rico’s southwest coast, this coastal village is home to one of the island’s three bioluminescent bays.
We’ll head out on the water to experience a natural wonder: tiny marine organisms called dinoflagellates that sparkle with blue-green light when the water moves. Depending on conditions and our tour operator’s guidelines, you may even have the chance to swim beneath the stars and see the water shimmer around you!
